eloise at the beach

Last week, whilst Amy was at work, Eloise and I took the bus to the beach.  Eloise’s 2 favorite things about Chicago are public transportation and water.  Trains, buses, water parks, and beaches.  She loves it all.

After digging in the sand she ventured out into the water and had loads of fun.  She’d get in far enough to let the waves knock her down.  Then she’d lay on her belly letting the waves push her back to the beach.  Twas a great afternoon on the lakefront.

eloise’s last night at 2319 jefferson

I came home from work at about 2am to find some sidewalk drawings from Amy and Eloise.  Was pretty sad because that was the last time Eloise would get to play with sidewalk chalk on the sidewalk at our very first home as a family.

She was fast asleep and had no idea of the adventure she was about to be pushed into.  Hopefully this move will be a worthwhile adventure for her.  Hopefully city life will suit her.
